Energy per product: connecting power meters to production counts
Total electricity bills cannot show which production line spends the most energy per good unit. A useful retrofit joins energy metering with production data.

The demonstration uses actual product screens with sample data, not independently verified customer savings.
A small-factory architecture
Three-phase energy meters or power analysers → Modbus gateway → PLC production counters → shifts/orders → dashboards for kWh per line, shift and good unit.
An initial KPI is kWh per accepted unit over an aligned time interval. Mixed-product production requires appropriate energy allocation between orders.
Implementation checks
Separate idle and active energy, recover meter counters after network outages and compare equivalent production conditions.
